My wife liked her salad with chicken, but we both thought the chicken was just a touch dry. The Brunswick stew was excellent with a beefier taste than your traditional Southern Brunswick stew. The sweet tea was very good with a cloudy look and taste, almost muddled with hints of apple cider. We like the causal environment, quick service and they offer BYOB.

Redds has been in this location for several years and it just needs a really thorough cleaning of the restaurant seating area. It was not dirty, but just needs to be refreshed a bit. They have limited open days and a limited menu in Carlisle (several dishes on the menu are only available in their new larger Mechanicsburg location).
I do love their smoked wings and ribs. They just need to give us more days to eat in their restaurant.
Parking is on the street with meters or in a larger parking lot (also meters) a quarter block away.
I will be back but maybe to order carryout food.

There are lots of house made barbecue sauces to choose from and they are all high quality. I really like the Kansas City bbq sauce.

The wings were smoked and full of flavor and so tender they fell off the bone. The ribs were not as smokey, but were very tender and also fell off the bone. My favorite was the brisket. It was smokey, tender, and lean. Full of flavor. The Coleslaw was excellent as were the fresh cut fries. They were piping hot and a great way to try their 4 sauces, which were all excellent.

I would certainly recommend stopping in here. They also have large to go containers if you are planning a get together.

No alcohol served, but you can bring your own.

If you like collard greens, get them! It's hard to make good collard greens and this place does a great job. Be aware that the place is pretty small, so go on a weekday if you can. Also, it's metered street parking, so bring quarters.
